Here's my take for the Sketch #12...

Description:

This picture was taken during my recent scrapbooking class at Made With Love.

So intent was I on the learning that I forgot it was a mirror which I was altering. I got to see this picture after returning home and uploaded them. The first thing that caught my mind were the words my dad used to say...

I've reduced the size of the actual sketch to my LO, and shifted some of the elements to make the title stand out.

Journaling:

As kids, dad always tells us to stay focused in everything we do. There's so much more to learn and explore. I'll do fine. All it takes is to believe and focus...

It was actually quite fun to do this LO, since I experimented with the Maya Mists. I've misted the plain chipboard with Maya Mists and added some perfect pearls to make it look glittery vintage... I could do that again! haha.. Now I am hooked... LOL...

I'll upload the pictures of the actual altered art when I get it sorted out.. haha.. I actually learned a lot of techniques to add to my sb, though I don't think I will invest in any of those expensive equipments... haha...

By the way, did I tell anyone that I knocked my head on the corner of this "sorta like drawer" which is wood in material & now there's a bump and scar on my head beneath my hair?

I know it's not the first time, though I hope it's the last. But for goodness sake, it's painful.

Argh. That happened just right after I got home from the flight. How awful.

Hehe... And I've got another piece of good news too. Jonathan (my student) scored horridly WELL in his exams! Woohoo~ 1st in class & 5th in standard... Wahahaha... I feel like hugging him the next time I see him... (But I will restrain myself lah... hahahaha...)

These pieces of good news will keep me going... hehe..

& I am missing my 2 good friends Li & Ling... We'll all meet up once ling is back k?
